DLGRExtendByLine

DLGRExtendByLine

DLGRExtendByLine is a helper command that attempts to extend a line by intersecting target curve in a perpendicular plane. This can be useful when constructing a grade curve network.

You will first be prompted to "Select curve or edge to extend". Select the curve or edge close to the end you wish to extend.

Now you will be prompted to "Select curve or edge to extend to". Select the curve you want to intersect with. If an intersection is successful, a line will be drawn from the end of the initial line to the intersection point on the second line.

info

A control point is inserted into the target curve at the intersection by default. This is useful when constructing grading curve networks and leads to more logical generated mesh output.
