DLGRSeamOffset

DLGRSeamOffset applies a vertical offset (model units) to the selected seam curves (curves that appear on the seam layer). This command is useful when creating hardstand edges such as garden beds that are set down a consistent ammount from the graded surface.

note

The target curves will not be changed other than having offset data attached to them so no change will be visible in the resultant TIN surface after DLGRGenerateTIN is run.

note

Seam offsets can be positive or negative. To reset the offset set the offset to 0; Typically seam offset curves work best in pairs where one curve maintains 0 offset while the other is relative +/-.

Before Seam Offset

The two seam curves both have an offset of 0 i.e. no offsets applied resulting in a consistent grade with seams.

After Seam Offset

The inner seam curve has an offset of -300 while the outer offset curve has an offert of o. Offsets result in an edge with a consistent grade.
